Local leisure highlights close to Cooper Square include Kidwells Park, Dorney Lakes, and open swimming at Bray. Centred around sports and the outdoors, these activities are ideal for those that want to see more of the local area. Watersports can also be found at Maidenhead sailing club, a 22-minute walk from the site, and at the nearby Thames and Jubilee River. National Trust’s Clivedon is a 13-minute drive from the site and a wonderful family day out.

For insights into Maidenhead’s history, fantastic productions, and the latest blockbusters, the town also hosts Desborough Theatre, and a multi-screen cinema less than 15 minutes from the development.

These leisure sites, combined with the plethora of local shopping opportunities, ensure that there’s lots for residents at Cooper Square to do. The development’s excellent transport links mean that leisure opportunities in nearby locations are also readily available, with countless attractions in London, tranquil villages on the Thames, and Boulter’s Lock in the beautiful countryside.

The development is just a two-minute walk from Maidenhead high street, and a 16-minute drive from Windsor – this proximity ensures that everyday essentials are easily reachable. Well-known stores and independent outlets feature in the high street, while further opportunities are just a few minutes down the round. The local supermarket is just a minute’s walk from Cooper Square and Nicholson’s Shopping Centre can be reached in just 10 minutes.

Produce and farmers’ markets also run regularly in the town, and the area has been well-known as a trade centre since the erection of a wooden bridge in the early 1200s. Locally sourced produce, handmade products, and outstanding local dealers are all available at these markets. The recently generated Waterside area is a three-minute walk away and offers vibrant bars and restaurants on the doorstep.

Cooper Square’s town centre location means that major roads run close to the development. To the east, the A404 leads to High Wycombe, while the M4 makes Maidenhead easily accessible to the south of Cooper Square. Running from London to southwest Wales, this road is a major route for commuters and leisure travellers.

For rail travel, the closest major station is Maidenhead. Regular departures from here go to key destinations locally and nationwide, including London Paddington, Oxford, and Reading. With journey times of around 40 minutes into central London, this is an ideal location for regular and sporadic commuters to the capital. The newly opened Elizabeth Line also connects Maidenhead to Central London.

Heathrow airport is just over 20 minutes’ drive away from the development.

With local schools within a 15-minute walk, primary and secondary school-age children are well catered for at Cooper Square. Oldfield Primary School is one of the closest schools, and this centre caters to children up to 11 years old. For secondary school options, both Desborough College and Claires Court Junior and Senior Girls schools are a mile away from the development.

Well-regarded further education centres are also found in the town, including The Windsor Forest Colleges Group and the Berkshire College of Agriculture. Both have won acclaim for their first-class courses and the opportunities they present to young people in Berkshire.

Your monthly repayments

Repayment mortgage
What's this?
If you opt for a repayment mortgage, you will need to make monthly payments to your mortgage lender, which consist of a portion of the amount you originally borrowed (sometimes called the ‘capital balance’), as well as any interested that has been incurred on your loan.
Interest only mortgage
What's this?
Choosing an interest-only mortgage means that you will only need to make monthly payments towards the interest on the amount you originally borrowed. With this type of loan, you don’t need to repay any of the capital balance (the amount you borrowed to buy your home), for the duration of the interest only period.
