The River Gardens is located in Royal Greenwich, one mile from the town centre, approximately four miles from Canary Wharf and eight miles from central London.
Greenwich and Canary Wharf are both busy shopping destinations, boasting many designer boutiques and specialist retailers, as well as high-street stores. The vibrant Greenwich Market offers a selection of fresh produce, organic and street food, arts, crafts and antiques, while the area around the market is home to a plethora of bistros, restaurants, bars and cafés.

For film fans, a multiplex cinema can be found less than 10 minutes’ walk from the development and an arthouse cinema 20 minutes’ walk away. Acclaimed entertainment venue the O2, which includes the O2 arena, numerous bars, restaurants and clubs, a bowling alley, 11-screen cinema and exhibition space, is less than 10 minutes’ drive (25 minutes’ walk) from the development.
For professionals, the proximity of The River Gardens to public transport connections and major roads is a boon. Cutty Sark DLR station is less than 20 minutes’ walk from the development and from there frequent services run to Canary Wharf (9 minutes), Bank (19 minutes), Stratford (22 minutes) and Lewisham (7 minutes). The nearest railway station is Maze Hill, around 10 minutes’ walk away and next to Greenwich Park, with services running to Greenwich, Deptford, London Bridge and London Cannon Street (journey time of around 15 minutes).
The Blackwall Tunnel, for travel north of the Thames, is less than two miles away, the A13 (for the City, east London and Essex) is less than three miles away and the A2 (for south London, Dartford, the M25, the M2 and Dover) is around five minutes away by car.
