Shopping

For day-to-day shopping essentials the nearest supermarket is less than five minutes’ walk from the development. The long established Chrisp Street Market is open six days a week and can also be reached in five minutes on foot. It is home to small shops, cafés and around 80 stalls selling a variety of goods, as well as a monthly street food market and occasional music festivals.

Canary Wharf offers designer and high-street brands within the shopping malls of Jubilee Place, Crossrail Place, Cabot Place and Canada Place, while Westfield Stratford City, with around 350 stores, cafés, bars, restaurants and a multiplex cinema, is around 10 minutes from Lansbury Square by car, or DLR.

Leisure

Sports fans will find Poplar Baths Leisure Centre, with its pool, gym, fitness studio, sports hall and rooftop football pitch, half a mile away on East India dock Road, or Mile End Park Stadium, with facilities including tennis courts, hockey, football and netball pitches and an athletics track, around a mile away. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which encompasses the Olympic Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre and the Lee Valley Velo Park is just over two miles away.

For live music, the O2 Arena can be reached in 10 minutes by car, or for world-class drama, musicals, comedy and dance, the theatres of London’s West End are around 25 minutes away by car, or around 40 minutes away by DLR and London Underground.

Transport

Langdon Park DLR station is just a few minutes’ walk away and from there, journeys to Canary Wharf take around five minutes. The closest London Underground station is Bromley-By-Bow (District, and Hammersmith & City lines), while major roads include the A12, the East India Dock Road and the A11.
