Manor Walks is home to a multiplex cinema, which screens the latest movie releases and Concordia Leisure Centre. Cyclists are also well catered for in the local area, with a number of cycle routes running through Cramlington.
Tynemouth and Whitley Bay boast golden sands, as well as landmarks such as St Mary’s Lighthouse and Tynemouth Priory; popular with families, especially during the summer, the resorts also offer colourful seaside arcades, traditional fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours and an aquarium. Newcastle’s magnificent architecture and cosmopolitan ambience draw visitors from across the region and beyond. Cultural highlights include the Theatre Royal and the independent Tyneside Cinema.
