Margate Beach is a 24-minute walk away and is well catered to by a plethora of shops, arcades, food stands, and restaurants. The beach also benefits from an adjacent market, a tidal pool, an adventure golf course, and Dreamland Margate amusement park.

Hartsdown Park is a mile away and provides green space, as well as outdoor exercise facilities. Hartsdown Leisure Centre is just beyond the park, offering regular classes, plus a well-equipped gym and a swimming pool. Westbrook Promenade is just under half an hour’s walk away and provides a picturesque walking trail overlooking Westbrook Bay.

The surrounding area also hosts several museums, including Dickens House Museum, Margate Museum, Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum, and Powell-Cotton Museum.

This development is ideal for families, with a number of well-regarded schools in the area catering to children of all ages. Saint Gregory’s Roman Catholic Primary School is just around the corner for an easy walk, while Salmeston Primary School and Nursery is also only nine minutes’ walk away.

Additionally, The Charles Dickens School and Laleham Gap School are both a nine-minute drive away. Beatrice Road bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the development and provides regular routes through to Canterbury in a little over an hour. Margate train station is just over a mile away and offers direct routes to London via Southeastern rail, the fastest of which takes under an hour and a half.

The development can be reached within a five-minute drive of the A28 heading west to Canterbury. The channel tunnel can be reached in about 50 minutes for access to the continent.

Manston International Airport is a seven-minute drive away and provides connections to over 500 international destinations, via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Navigators Walk is well supplied with local amenities, having two newsagents around 10 minutes’ walk away for everyday essentials, plus a choice of well-known supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. Margate – around seven minutes away in the car – provides a range of shops and restaurants, both independent and high-street brands. Northdown Road and its adjacent streets cater to the highest concentration of these with food ranging from Indian, Lebanese, and, of course, fish and chips. Old Kent Market is situated just off Margate Beach and presents a bustling collection of independent craft stalls and food stands housed within an old, converted cinema.

Canterbury offers an additional option, with Whitefriars shopping centre presenting popular high-street fashion and lifestyle brands. Independent boutiques and craft stores can be found dotted about the King’s Mile and St Dunstan’s for unique gifts.
