The Grantham Canal, which stretches 33 miles via the Vale of Belvoir, passes quaint villages, picturesque countryside and the attractive Belvoir Castle, while the 400-year old Easton Walled Gardens are set in a charming 12 acre valley and are ripe for exploration.

For a day out with a difference, the well-known Newark Showground plays host to antique and collectors fairs throughout the year, along with an annual country show, while an impressive farmers’ market is held on the second Saturday of the month, at the heart of Grantham town centre.

The architecturally-beautiful Guildhall Arts Centre hosts a range of shows and performances covering dance, drama, Hollywood film and pantomime. Pavement cafés are plentiful in Grantham and provide an ideal setting to relax after exploring the historic market. The Teaspoon Tea Company is just 1.5 miles from the development and specialises in over 40 varieties of loose leaf teas, as well as a fantastic array of homemade cakes, with everything from red velvet sponge to clotted cream scones. The fashionable Eden Wine Bar, Restaurant and Coffee House is less than 1.5 miles from Aspire 2 and promises an idyllic daytime treat or an evening of elegant dining. Transport and education

Grantham is well-known for the quality of its local schools, which have consistently achieved some of the best academic results in the area.

The A1 passes to the west of the town, providing access to several major commuter areas, such as Lincoln, Sheffield, Peterborough and Cambridge. The A52 is also nearby, providing connections to Nottingham in around 40 minutes, Leicester in under an hour and Birmingham in 1.5 hours.

Travel by train is covered by Grantham Station, less than two miles from home, which runs on the East Coast Main Line. From here, residents can access direct services to London Kings Cross in as little as 75 minutes, Newark in 10 minutes, Peterborough in 20 minutes and Nottingham in just 30 minutes.

East Midlands is the closest international airport and can be reached in around 50 minutes by car.
