Willow Rise’s location – around seven miles north-east of Nottingham city centre – means that there are plenty of leisure and entertainment opportunities available.

A little more than a five-minute drive away from the development leads to Springwater Golf Club, a long-established, 18-hole course that is ideal for both newcomers to the sport and serious golfers alike.

Around three-and-a-half miles away from Willow Rise is Burnstump Country Park, which is a popular spot for families and dog walkers, as there are plenty of trails that weave throughout the wooded and open areas.

For children, just a 10-minute drive will bring residents to Floralands Farm Park, where visitors can meet a whole host of beautiful animals, including llamas, ponies, ferrets, ducks, guinea pigs, and so much more.

To purchase items such as everyday essentials, there’s a popular supermarket less than a three-minute drive away from the development. For high-street shops and other well-known stores, Victoria Retail Park is roughly 10 miles away from Willow Rise. Additionally, residents of the development can also quickly and easily travel into the heart of nearby Nottingham, and peruse the Victoria Centre, a popular shopping centre locally, that is only a 25-minute drive.

Residents of Willow Rise will revel in the number of schools situated in Calverton and the surrounding areas. Highly regarded establishments close to the development include Manor Park Infant and Nursery School, Sir John Sherbrooke Junior School, and St. Wilfrid’s C of E Primary School – which are all with a 15-minute walk. University students also have options, with the University of Nottingham, the University of Derby, and Sheffield Hallam are all less than an hour’s drive away.

Calverton’s location on the outskirts of Nottingham means that it’s ideal for any potential homeowner that’s looking to commute to nearby towns and cities. Nottingham itself is only a 25-minute drive away, while Derby is less than 25 miles away.

Alternatively, Lowdham train station is only around a 10-minute drive away, and provides regular services into Nottingham train station.
