Sherwood Gate is located on Papplewick Lane, Linby, just eight miles away from Nottingham city centre. The development is around a 10-minute drive away from Junction 27 of the M1.

A number of well-regarded schools can be found within a few miles of Sherwood Gate, including Leen Mills Primary within walking distance, while plans to build a brand new primary school on the border of the development are currently underway.

Linby is a charming and attractive parish, with pleasant brook-lined pathways along its traditional main street. The Horse and Groom is a much-loved village pub just 1.5 miles from Sherwood Gate, which serves comforting, home-cooked meals and an excellent selection of beers and wines.

Active residents will find Hucknall Leisure Centre within walking distance of the development, which boasts a 25-metre swimming pool, a large gym, a sports court and cycling studio. The major M1 motorway is within close proximity, with Junction 27 five miles away, and Junction 26 six miles away. Nottingham can be reached in around 25 minutes, via the B683 and A611.

Hucknall train station is just over a mile from the development and provides fast and frequent services into Nottingham (15 minutes), Worksop and Mansfield Woodhouse.
