Stylish new homes in Swanland

Swanland village is situated approximately seven miles west of Hull, and to the north of the Humber Estuary. Swanland Grange can be found just a few minutes’ drive from the A63.

Swanland Grange is a development located in the village of Swanland, which is around 20 minutes’ drive west of Hull. Due to the development’s prime location, there is an abundance of leisure and entertainment options in the area.

The Humber Bridge Country Park, around three-and-a-half miles from Swanland Grange, is a 48-acre wood featuring open meadows, wildlife ponds, and a variety of walking trails. It is partially surrounded, on three sides, by distinctive chalk cliffs, leading to the park being locally known as Little Switzerland, due to the cliffs’ resemblance to the snow-covered Alps. 

Approximately a 20-minute drive from the development is The Deep, a spectacular aquarium containing more than 5,000 animals. Visitors can see fish, sharks, rays, and enjoy a meal at the in-house restaurant.

In the centre of Hull, which is roughly 11 miles away from the development, is a variety of art galleries and museums.

Swanland Grange is a quaint village with a selection of amenities available, including a post office, a pharmacy, and a coffee shop. Going further afield, Anlaby Retail Park is just over a 10-minute journey by car, and it has a variety of high street shops, eateries, a gym, and a supermarket. 

Another spot for shopping is the Princes Quay, less than nine miles away from the development, where there is a shopping centre, cinema, and bowling alley all under one roof.

Ferriby Train Station is only a four-minute drive from Swanland Grange. From there, commuters can get a train into Hull, which takes around 20 minutes in total, and York, which is a little more than an hour.

For those who drive, Leeds city centre is just over an hour away, via the M62 and the A63, and York is only around 40 miles from Swanland Grange. The centre of Hull is a little more than a 20-minute drive away.

There are a number of highly regarded schools within the vicinity of the development, including Swanland Primary School, which is around a 12-minute walk. Roughly six minutes’ drive from Swanland Grange is South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College.  For older students, the University of Hull is just under seven miles away from the development.
