Bluebell Walk is situated eight miles from Maidstone town centre and 11 miles from Ashford. The development benefits from a rural setting, while offering convenient access to the M20 and to the M2.
Day-to-day shopping essentials can be purchased at the village convenience store, while several supermarkets are located in the neighbouring villages of Bearsted and Langley. Maidstone offers a variety of chain stores, boutiques, department stores and independent retailers within the Royal Star Arcade, Fremlin Walk and The Mall shopping centres, and surrounding roads, such as Week Street, High Street, Earls Street and Gabriel’s Hill.
There are several restaurants and traditional pubs just a short distance from the development, including The Ringlestone Inn and The Pepper Box Inn, both around three miles away. The Red Lion in the neighbouring village of Lenham dates back to the 14th century, while The Dirty Habit in Hollingbourne goes back as far as the 11th century and is situated on the historic Pilgrims Way. All serve a selection of food prepared from seasonal and local ingredients.
The surrounding countryside lends itself to outdoor pursuits. The North Downs Way national trail, popular with walkers, is less than a mile away and is part of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which also offers opportunities for horse riding and cycling.

Maidstone town centre is home to the Hazlitt Theatre and the adjoining Exchange Studio, which between them present a programme of live music, drama, comedy and family entertainment. A multi-screen cinema is situated at Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre, 20 minutes’ drive away, while the riverside Whatman Park and the grounds of Leeds Castle play host to outdoor film screenings and theatre performances over the summer.
Well-regarded schools in the local area include Harrietsham CE Primary and Platts Heath Primary. For older students, Sittingbourne Community College, Maidstone Grammar School (boys) and Invicta Grammar School (girls), can all be reached within 25 minutes by car.
Harrietsham is located eight miles from Maidstone and 11 miles from Ashford. The M20 is four miles from the development and the M2 eight miles. Regular trains run from Harrietsham Railway Station, less than a mile away, to Maidstone, Canterbury, London Victoria and Ashford International (for high-speed services to Stratford International and London St Pancras, as well as Eurostar services to Paris, Lille and Brussels.) Local buses link Bluebell Walk with surrounding towns and villages. The nearest airport is Gatwick, 45 minutes’ drive away via the M20 and the M25.
