Seaford Grange is situated one mile from the town centre, eight miles from Eastbourne and 13 miles from Brighton. The A27 can be reached in around 10 minutes by car and the A22 in around 20 minutes.
The development lies within the administrative boundaries of Seaford Town Council, Lewes District Council and East Sussex County Council.
Several well-regarded schools can be found in the local area, such as Chyngton School, around 15 minutes’ walk away, Cradle Hill Community Primary School, around 20 minutes’ walk away and Seaford Primary School, five minutes’ drive away. Older pupils are catered for by, among others, Seaford Head School, 10 minutes’ walk away and Seahaven Academy, 15 minutes away by car.
Seaford town centre is home to a variety of shops, including supermarkets, well-known chains and independent retailers, along High Street, Broad Street and Sutton Road. A coastal town, Seaford also has a wide selection of cafés, restaurants, traditional fish and chip shops, and an ice cream company – Holy Cow! – that produces its own ice cream and homemade cakes. A general market takes place in the Clinton Centre on Clinton Place every Friday.
Further afield, Eastbourne lies 20 minutes’ drive to the east and to the west, the popular shopping destinations of Brighton – The Lanes, North Laine, Brighton Marina and Churchill Square – can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
The nearest railway station is Seaford, five minutes’ drive away, or around 20 minutes on foot from the development. Frequent services run to Newhaven, Brighton and Lewes, from where connecting trains link to London Victoria, among other destinations.
Major roads easily accessible from the development include the A259, the A26 and the A27.
