Arts and culture are prominent, with a range of wonderful museums and art galleries to explore, including Nottingham Contemporary, just a 13-minute drive, and Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, just a 15-minute drive. Wollaton Hall, one of Nottingham’s most attractive locations, is just a 15-minute drive from home. Soak up its Natural History exhibits, explore the imposing Grade I listed house, or gaze in wonder at the 200+ wild deer that roam freely in Wollaton Park. The Hall is also ideally placed for taking advantage of Nottingham’s strong sporting heritage, as well as many other leisure facilities closer to home.

Nottingham’s Trent Bridge Stadium, just a 10-minute drive, is a regular home ground for England’s test cricket team. Nottingham’s two primary football teams are its neighbours; Nottingham Forest’s home stadium, The City Ground, is just across the road, while Notts County’s Meadow Lane Stadium is on the other side of the River Trent.

Although both West Bridgford and Nottingham are in close proximity, The Hall is also perfectly placed for reaching major areas further afield. Road links are substantial, with Derby just an hour’s drive away via the A52. The M1 is just 18 minutes from home, linking you to many of the UK’s major towns and cities, including both Loughborough and Leicester in under an hour. Nottingham Railway Station is just an 11-minute drive from The Hall, providing rail links to Sheffield in 48 minutes, Birmingham New Street in one hour and fifteen minutes, and London St Pancras in just under two hours.

The Hall benefits from a close proximity to a number of schools, including Edwalton Primary School and Edwalton Day Nursery and Pre-School, which are both under a 15-minute walk. Further schools are available nearer to Nottingham, including Nottingham High School, an independent school for primary, secondary and sixth form pupils, that’s just under a 20-minute drive.

Higher education is available throughout the city’s impressive range of colleges and universities, including the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. There is also the National Design Academy just a 16-minute drive from home, offering various design courses in a range of levels, from Diplomas to Master’s degrees.

Residents are perfectly placed for the best that city and country has to offer. A post office, church, convenience shop and pub are all within a one-mile radius. West Bridgford, just over two miles from home on the outskirts of Nottingham, offers several supermarkets too.

Nottingham also boasts the many amenities you would expect to find in a city, including a range of shopping options. Victoria and Broadmarsh shopping centres offer your favourite high-street names and are both under a 20-minute drive.

There is a wealth of eclectic food and drink on offer. Annie’s Burger Shack, a popular, vegan-friendly burger eatery is just a 16-minute drive. Nottingham’s reputation for ale is maintained by its award-winning breweries: Blue Monkey and Castle Rock.
