Apsley Quay is located in Apsley, a suburb of Hemel Hempstead and 28 miles from central London. The development is around two miles from the town centre, three miles from the M25 and four miles from the M1.

Residents will find a number of well-regarded schools nearby. For younger children these include Two Waters, Tudor and Belswains primary schools – all around five minutes’ drive from the development. Older pupils are catered for by Kings Langley Secondary School and The Hemel Hempstead School.

Shopping locally is focused on London Road in Apsley, which is home to several independent retailers and supermarkets. Hemel Hempstead town centre is around a mile away and offers a variety of stores in Marlowes, its commercial heart, and within The Marlowes mall and Riverside, the town’s outdoor shopping centre.
