For families there are several well-regarded schools in the local area, including Rolph CE Primary School, Tendring Primary School and Tendring Technology College in Frinton. Further afield, selective schools include Colchester Royal Grammar School and Colchester County High School for Girls, both around 15 miles from Henderson Park.

Thorpe-le-Soken train station is a mile from Henderson Park and from there regular services run to Clacton, Colchester, Chelmsford, Stratford and London Liverpool Street. The A12 for Chelmsford and London is less than 20 minutes’ away by car. Other major roads easily accessible from the development include the A120 for Harwich, Colchester, Braintree and Stansted Airport, and the A133 for Clacton and Colchester.
