Bluebells is located on Rickstones Road, around a mile from Witham town centre, 11 miles from Chelmsford, 14 miles from Colchester and 52 miles from central London.
Several supermarkets are situated within five minutes’ drive of the development, and a selection of high-street and independent retailers can be found in the centre of Witham. A market is held every Saturday in Lockram Lane Car Park, around a mile from Bluebells and a street market takes place several times a year in Newlands Shopping Centre. Local walking routes include the River Walk, which stretches for four miles, passing alongside the River Brain, the town duck pond and Whetmead Nature Reserve by the River Blackwater.
Culture fans will find a full programme of live music, family entertainment, drama and dance at Witham Public Hall, one mile from the development, while the latest blockbuster movies are screened at Cineworld Braintree, 10 minutes’ drive away.
Frequent train services run from Witham railway station to Colchester, Chelmsford and London Liverpool Street (journey time of around 45 minutes). Major roads easily accessible from the development include the A12 and the A120. The M25 for access to all areas of London, lies 25 miles away and the M11 for east London, Saffron Walden and Cambridge is 23 miles away. Regular bus services link Witham with surrounding towns and villages. Stansted Airport is 22 miles from Bluebells via the A120.
