Steven and Jenny fly through the buying process with Bellway's Express Mover scheme to find a perfect home to wind down in.
With a stressful job as a pilot Steven Renton-Reid, and his partner Jenny who works in the financial sector, were keen to find a calming location where they could down tools, set up home and relax away from the daily grind.
When they visited Cloverhill in Gartcosh they instantly knew they had found their dream home in a location they describe as having a serene atmosphere and a cozy quietness.
Making their move Moving from Stirling, the couple were open to where they would decide to put down roots as long as it could also accommodate their needs and that of their little Pomeranian dog, Francois.
Steven explains, “As I operate out of Glasgow Airport as an airline pilot, the location of Cloverhill, the serenity in its location, coupled with the transport infrastructure and proximity to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the main route to the south for that matter, was a real attraction to us.
“The feeling that we had on our first visit was amazing – it felt right, it felt like the next chapter.”

The couple opted to buy the Victoria, a popular 4-bedroom detached home, and with an existing property to sell they decided to use our Express Mover tool.
Steven adds, “using Express Mover was very straight forward. The estate agent we worked with was of the highest calibre and very professional. There was no real difference in the selling process using Express Mover and it really was an upside for us by saving on the fees which Bellway paid. This was great at a time when there is a lot of expense from moving home. With the securing of Express Mover our Stirling home went from sold to settled, overnight.
“We chose the Victoria as Jenny works mainly from home, and we wanted a permanent office space. It’s now combined with a dressing room come make up area, Jenny loves it and it suits her needs. I got the garage, and the car is in there at the moment safe and sound. It has terrific home living space and a picturesque view that we love.”
Steven adds, “Francois loves the walks around the pathways and always gets excited when meeting the local furry friends of a morning outing.
“We were so happy on the first day of the move, with the Sales Team there to welcome us through the door. It wasn’t just a move, it felt like we had arrived!”.
