Keeping Bellway customers and colleagues safe

We will be reopening some of our Sales Centres and Showhomes from May 18th by appointment only. Please contact your preferred development for full details and to book your appointment from Monday 18th.

Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our customers and colleagues remains of utmost importance to us and we are continuing to monitor the developing situation closely while following all government and public health guidelines.

Following updates from Government we have now started to resume construction work on a number of our sites. Bellway has implemented social distancing safety measures and strict guidelines for workers on our construction sites which will maintain a safe working environment. We are reopening many of our Sales Centres and Showhomes to enable you to purchase your dream home. Due to the differing rules from the Scottish and Welsh Governments, our sites, Sales Centres and Showhomes remain closed in these countries.

Sales Centres and Showhomes

From Monday 18th May we will begin to reopen our Sales Centres and Showhomes on a limited number of sites, but only where new safety measures have been put in place to protect our staff and customers. Visits to Sales Centres and Showhomes are strictly by appointment only. Some of the steps we have taken include erecting safety screens, introducing social distancing measures, Covid-19 signage and provided digital versions of documents that can be emailed in order to keep our colleagues and customers safe. Working Safely on our Construction Sites

We have implemented social distancing safety measures and strict guidelines for workers on our sites which will maintain a safe working environment and as a result we have started to resume construction work on a number of our sites.

In order to help meet the expectations of those customers who were expecting to move into their new home over recent weeks, we are concentrating our efforts on those properties that are in the latter stages of construction.  When we are able, and only when it is safe to do so under these new measures, will we be resuming construction work on all of our sites. 

Ongoing care for our homeowners

We remain committed to providing the highest levels of customer care possible during the current situation. 

All customer care calls and emails will continue to be responded to as normal during this period. To allow for us to prioritise those with emergency requirements while safeguarding the wellbeing of all, we have suspended all attendance to non-essential meetings and repairs, in accordance with UK Government advice. Bellway will continue to attend emergency situations where necessary, taking all required and recommended precautions to ensure the continuing safety of our customers and workforce. Customers with pre-arranged appointments will be notified directly.

Please note that any defect reported during this period will be recorded on your digital plot file.  Providing that you have reported the issue within the initial two-year warranty period, we will address it when the situation improves, regardless if the warranty expires in the intervening period.

Please continue to directly report all enquiries or concerns to your divisional customer care team, to ensure that they are promptly and accurately logged in our system and can be addressed with the appropriate urgency.
