On the 7 October 2022, Bellway signed up to the Developers’ Pact with the Welsh Government. Similar in principle to the Pledge in England, this is a commitment to remediate buildings over 11 metres in height with life critical fire safety issues, which were constructed in Wales since 5 April 1992. This reflects our ongoing and responsible UK-wide approach to building safety.

Bellway has agreed a voluntary pledge with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) in relation to historical fire safety issues on buildings in England where Bellway has played a role in their development. Our FAQs have been created to highlight the actions we are taking.
