Colchester lies 14 miles to the north east and Chelmsford is around 10 miles to the west. Trains run from Witham to a variety of destinations including Colchester, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Stratford International and London Liverpool Street.
Major roads within easy reach of the development include the A12, the A120 and the M11. Stansted Airport is 23 miles away via the A120.

Newland Street, with its mix of high-street stores and independent retailers is the focus for shopping locally. Chelmsford, 10 miles away is home to three shopping centres – High Chelmer, Meadows and Bond Street – as well as a large number of boutiques, specialist and chain stores. Braintree Village outlet centre, popular for discount designer fashion, can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Braintree town centre is nine miles away and Colchester town centre is around 15 miles away – both are vibrant shopping destinations and both also offer a great selection of cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs.

New Gimson Place is around half a mile from the centre of town and around 20 minutes’ walk from Witham train station. Regular services run from there to Colchester and Ipswich to the north-east, and Chelmsford, Stratford and London Liverpool Street to the south-west. Journey time to Stratford London is from 34 minutes and to London Liverpool Street from 41 minutes.
The development is conveniently placed for accessing a number of major roads, such as the A12 for Colchester, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Chelmsford, Brentwood and London; the A120 for Braintree, Colchester, Harwich and Bishop’s Stortford, and the M11 for Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Harlow and London. The nearest airport is Stansted, which is 35 minutes away by car via the A120.
