The Community Centre in Armadale is a bustling hub of activities for all ages, while the town also has a new library, and a good range of local shopping and a state-of-the-art Asda superstore is part of several new facilities being created. Nearby Bathgate offers additional shopping, with Linlithgow and Livingston both around eight miles away offering even more diversity from the fresh produce of Farmers Markets to designer brands at the McArthur Glen outlet. There are also play areas and picnic sites in the Park, as well as ancient woodlands and walks amongst the wildlife all under two miles from home and Beecraigs Country Park is just seven miles away.

Yet while it is easy to feel miles from it all, at Hanlin Park you are minutes from superb transport connections. The new rail line has put Armadale on the train map between Glasgow and Edinburgh for Armadale for the first time in for over 50 years – making it an ideal commuting base - while by road the M8 is easily accessed.
