Residents will find two traditional pubs in the village – The Killingworth Arms and The Plough Inn – as well as a huge selection of bars, award-winning restaurants and cafés in the centre of Newcastle. The city is a major cultural destination for the North East, with an excellent selection of theatres, cinemas, art galleries and museums open to visitors.

Major roads easily accessible from these new homes in Killingworth include the A1, A19 and the A189. The nearest Metro station is at Palmersville, just over a mile away, from where regular train services run to Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields. For domestic and international flights, Newcastle Airport is a 20-minute drive away via the A1.
