Plessey Woods Country Park, Bedlington Country Park and Weetslade Country Park are home to a multitude of wildlife and are all around three miles from the development. Northumberlandia – comprising a 100ft high landscape sculpture within a community park – is a few minutes’ drive away and the Northumberland coast can be reached in around 10 minutes by car.

St Nicholas Manor is situated a few minutes’ walk from Cramlington Railway Station, from where regular trains run to Morpeth, Gateshead Metrocentre and Newcastle. East Coast Main Line services operate from Newcastle to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Durham, York, Peterborough and London Kings Cross, among many other destinations. The A1 for Berwick upon Tweed and Edinburgh to the north, Newcastle, Durham, Darlington and York to the south; the A19 for Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Thirsk and Doncaster, and the A189 for Newcastle, Gateshead and the Northumberland coast, can all be reached in around five minutes by car. Newcastle Airport is 11 miles away via the A1.
