With a background of written experience spanning long-form fiction, stage plays, web marketing, and lifestyle articles like those you’ll read on Your Nest, writing is one of my most rewarding hobbies – behind watching TV shows I’ve already seen before and finding a big pork pie at a farm shop.

For the past four years, I’ve plied my trade for Bellway in the homebuilding industry, armed initially with only an extensive knowledge of Grand Designs – one of the aforementioned TV shows.

Now I cover lifestyle content, interior design tips, and informative articles on homebuying schemes and the housing market. My goal is to make sure you’re as informed as you can be on new-build homes, to help you jargon-bust some of the finer characteristics of the buying process, and to keep you entertained along your exciting journey.

I studied Literature and Writing in York and built my marketing experience at a North-East agency before moving in-house with Bellway. As such, I offer a unique perspective on the topics I cover – although I’m yet to apply my untransferable knowledge of haunted homes from my time in York. Watch this space.
