Forster Park is set within a fantastic location, surrounded by town and countryside leisure opportunities - many of them under 10 minutes’ drive away. With the homes close to Fairlands Valley Park, residents can easily benefit from 119 acres of luscious greenery, woodland area, children’s trail, and a picturesque lake. For days spent picking fruit, Gravely Fruit Farm is just over one mile away, with it boasting tractor and trailer rides. Other popular secondary schools in the area include Hitchin Girls’ School and Hitchin Boys’ School, both around nine minutes away when driving. Schools catering to younger children include Gravely Primary School and Wymondley Junior Mixed and Infant School, which are both around five minutes’ drive away.  

For those looking to pursue higher education, the popular University of Hertfordshire is just 20 minutes’ drive away. Known for its prestigious reputation, the University of Cambridge takes 40 minutes in the car. Sought-after universities in London include Imperial College London, King’s College London, and Queen Mary University of London, all of which will be around 40 miles away.  

Those who drive benefit from easy access to the A1 and M25, while the excellent public transport system comprises Lister Close bus stop just a four-minute walk away - with stops including Grange Estate and Letchworth – and Stevenage Railway Station, just under two miles away. By train, trips to London take as little as 34 minutes and journeys to Cambridge take around 40 minutes.  

For travel internationally, Luton Airport is just a 22-minute drive away, and Stansted Airport is 30 miles away.  

The development is well-situated for excellent shopping opportunities; Stevenage Old Town is home to quaint independent shops, with up-and-coming Stevenage New Town part of a one-billion-pound regeneration project.
