Location

Brookvale is just 10 minutes from the M27, which provides connections to Southampton in just over an hour and Winchester in 45 minutes via the M3. Both Portsmouth and Chichester are around 20 minutes by car, while London Waterloo can be accessed in an hour and a half via Havant railway station.

The development is situated within the town of Havant, which falls within the boundaries of Hampshire County Council.

Leisure and entertainment

Nestled between the cities of Chichester and Portsmouth, Havant is a historic market town with an excellent range of attractions. Boasting a picturesque, semi-rural location, this appealing new development is just a short drive from the popular Staunton Country Park. Here, visitors can explore the Victorian Coach House, the iconic Chinese bridge and the largest tropical glasshouse on the South Coast. Younger visitors can also meet the animals at the park’s very own farm, or try their hand at navigating the impressive Golden Jubilee maze.

Culture enthusiasts won’t be disappointed in Havant, with The Spring art centre and museum just a five minute drive from Brookvale. This independent venue is ran by passionate volunteers, and regularly hosts live performances, heritage exhibitions, art workshops and films showings.

Education

An excellent choice for families, Brookvale benefits from close proximity to a number of highly-regarded local schools, covering infant through to higher education.

Residents will find an excellent range of institutions for younger students, with two infant schools and four primary schools within a five minute drive. One of these is the especially well-rated St Albans Church of England primary school, which is located just one mile from Brookvale.

For older students, both Havant Academy and Warblington School are less than two miles from the development.

Transport

Transport connections in the area are excellent, with good public transport options and easy access to the motorway network. The closest major roads are the A27, just two miles from Brookvale, and the A3, which is around 2.5 miles away. For travel by train, Havant station is 1.5 miles away, and provides regular connections to stations across the South Coast, as well as Northern services to London.

Ideal for commuters, London Waterloo and London Victoria stations can be reached within an 80-minute direct journey from Havant.
