Spencer’s Wood is a rural village, which lies about six miles south of Reading. Langford Park can be found just off the A33, and less than 10 minutes from the M4 junction 11.
Langford Park is ideally placed for countryside pursuits, such as picnics, walking, jogging and cycling. There are several country parks within the local area, the nearest of which is Wellington Country Park, only five minutes’ drive from the development. There are several well-regarded schools in the local area, to accommodate growing families. For young children, Lambs Lane Primary School is less than half a mile away from the development, while Shinfield Infant and Nursery School and Shinfield St Mary’s C of E Junior School are approximately five minutes away by car. Older students are served by Oakbank Secondary School, less than two miles away.
For higher education, the University of Reading is only 15 minutes away by car from Langford Park.
Nearby major roads include the A33 and the M4; the A-road provides ease of access to Reading, while the motorway leads to Wokingham and London to the east, and to Bristol and Swindon to the West.
Regular bus services also run through the village to Reading and other local towns.
For train travel, both Wokingham and Reading train stations are around a 20-minute drive from the development and provide services direct to stations in London, including Gatwick airport. Trains from Wokingham also run to Reading, where travellers can then connect to destinations such as Swansea, Bristol, Oxford and Newcastle.
