Scotchbarn Rise is just 1.5 miles from the M57 which acts as a bypass road for Liverpool, connecting Tarbock with Aintree. The major M62 motorway is 2.6 miles away, while St. Helens can be reached in 3.3 miles (via the A58) and Liverpool city centre is just 10 miles away (via the A5049).
