Alderstone Park will be under a 20-minute drive from Blackpool, home to many popular attractions. The development will also be ideally located close to useful amenities and natural spaces; Seven Oaks Country Park will be a four-minute walk away. Residents will also have easy access to The Lake District National Park and nearby motorways.

For fun-filled days out, indoor entertainment centre The Flowerbowl will take 12 minutes in the car. Ashton and Lea Golf Club will be 14 miles away, with the Pilates and Wellness studio just a nine-minute walk away. Garstang Leisure Centre will be just over six miles away.

The charming market town of Garstang will be six and a half miles away from the development. Alderstone Park is also planned to be just under a half-hour drive from Preston city centre, home to a host of activities including parks and museums. The neighbouring village of Elswick will be just two miles away and is home to Bonds Ice Cream shop, a very popular destination for visitors.

For those who commute, Cartford Lane bus stop will be just under a mile away, and Raikes Road bus stop just a two-minute walk away. Several major roads will be close by, with the A585 a five-minute drive away and the M55 five miles away. Commuters will be able to drive into both Liverpool and Manchester in just over an hour, and Blackpool Airport will be a 23 minutes’ drive away.

Residents will be just a 10-minute walk away from Great Eccleston centre. The charming village has a traditional butcher, bakery, hardware store and an award-winning fish and chip shop. The village also hosts more modern convenience stores and an independent coffee shop, with a market held once a month. Barton Grange Garden Centre will be a 12-minute drive away from the development, home to impressive seasonal displays along with gardening and homeware products.

For a wider range of high street stores, Teanlowe Shopping Centre and neighbouring town Poulton-le-Fylde are popular choices.

Blackpool will be eight miles away and has a host of shopping and dining options. The nearest city, Preston, will be just under a 30-minute drive away and is an excellent shopping choice, with plenty of independent and high street stores.

Well situated for a range of eateries, the development will be close to several Michelin-star restaurants within an hour’s drive. The Cartford Inn, named The Telegraph’s Pub of the Year 2020, will only be 15 minutes away by car, priding itself on producing meals expressing Lancashire’s food culture, cooked using the region’s best produce.  

The development will be within proximity to several well-regarded primary and secondary institutions, including St Michaels-On-Wyre Church of England Primary and Nursery. This popular school aims to provide a happy, caring, safe, and stimulating place for children to flourish.

Alderstone Park will be within the catchment area for St. Mary’s Catholic Primary, another school favoured by parents, giving children a vibrant learning environment in which to thrive. Great Eccleston Copp C of E Primary School will be one mile away from the development and helps pupils flourish through their Christian ethos and vision.

Garstang Community Academy is a secondary school dedicated to providing its students with a safe and inspiring setting for learning, and will be a 13-minute drive away.

For further education, Blackpool and Fylde college hosts a variety of courses. The University of Central Lancashire will be 11 miles from the development.
