Woodgreen is situated on Plessey Road in Blyth, around two miles from the town centre, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Blyth beach, five miles from Cramlington and around 13 miles from Newcastle city centre.

There are a number of well-regarded schools in the local area. These include New Delaval Primary School, Newsham Primary School and St Wilfred’s Roman Catholic Primary School for younger children.
