A number of well-regarded schools can be found in the local area, such as Stocksfield Avenue Primary and Wingrove Primary schools for younger children – both within walking distance, and St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School (boys) and Sacred Heart Catholic High School (girls) for older students. Newcastle Sixth Form College (two miles away) offers a wide selection of A levels and the neighbouring Newcastle College provides apprenticeships, further and higher education courses. Northumbria University and Newcastle University are both located in the city centre.

Several shops are situated within walking distance of the development and Newcastle city centre is just 10 minutes’ away by car.
