Taylors Wynd is located in the village of Hepscott, three miles south of Morpeth and around 15 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Major roads easily accessible from the development include the A192 for Morpeth and the A1 for travel south to Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham, and north to Alnwick, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh. Regular public buses connect Taylors Wynd with surrounding towns and villages, including Morpeth, Bedlington, Stannington, Cramlington and Newcastle. Morpeth Railway Station is a five-minute drive away and from there local trains run to Newcastle and Gateshead, and national rail services to Edinburgh, Durham, York, Doncaster and London. Newcastle Airport is 15 miles away via the A1.
