In close proximity to the development is the Bridgewater Canal, which can be walked to in under 10 minutes, and it leads through to the charming Lymm Dam, a winner of several Green Flag awards.

Within reach of Sandstone Brook are both a cinema and a bowling alley, which are around seven miles away from the development. 

For more family-themed activities, Apple Jacks Adventure Farm, a location packed with outdoor activities, entertainment, and food options, is just over 10 minutes’ drive away from Sandstone Brook. Plus, less than 15 miles from the development is Gulliver’s World Theme Park, where there are more than 80 rides, attractions, and shows to enjoy each day.

Shopping and dining

Less than half a mile from Sandstone Brook, in the heart of Lymm, are a variety of restaurant options, including steakhouses, Mediterranean restaurants, and Indian eateries. Some of these restaurants are located on the side of the canal, offering picturesque views while you eat.

Less than a minute’s walk from the development is a large supermarket, which stocks all of the day-to-day essentials. Around a 20-minute drive from the development is Golden Square Shopping Centre, which offers a variety of local, independent shops and high street stores. Plus, located just over eight miles from Sandstone Brook is Birchwood Shopping Centre, which is a typical mall with a range of retailers and eateries.

For shopping on a larger scale, the Trafford Centre is just over a 20-minute drive from the development, and hosts an extensive range of restaurants, high street stores, and other leisure and retail options.

Transport

Just a 10-minute drive from the development leads to Glazebrook Train Station, which offers a number of services, including to Manchester Deansgate in around 25 minutes. In addition, Warrington Central Station, which is roughly seven miles away from the development, provides a direct service to Liverpool, arriving in less than 35 minutes. For further travel links, Warrington Bank Quay Station, around a 20-minute drive from the development, offers a variety of services travelling north and south.

Sandstone Brook benefits from an array of excellent road links. The M56 is an eight-minute drive, the M6 is just over three miles away from the development, and the M62 is around 20 minutes’ drive. These major road links allow for commuters to travel into neighbouring cities, as Manchester is only a little further than 13 miles away and Liverpool is around a 50-minute journey by car.

For international and domestic flights, Manchester Airport is roughly a 15-minute drive from Sandstone Brook.

Education

For families, there are a variety of well-regarded schools near to the development. Ravenbank Community Primary School is around a three-minute drive, Oughtrington Community Primary School is about a 20-minute walk, and Cherry Tree Primary School is little more than a mile away.

For older students, Lymm High School and Sixth Form is approximately 25 minutes’ walk from Sandstone Brook.
