Situated on the outskirts of Willesborough, Hinxhill Park incorporates a children’s play area and a football pitch. The development is surrounded by open countryside and is just a short drive from the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 339 square miles of woodland, grassland, marshes and ponds. Cycling, horse riding, walking and hiking are all popular activities throughout the downs, with dedicated cycle routes, bridleways and walking trails for exploring the wildlife habitats, towns and villages that cover the area.
Wye National Nature Reserve, five miles away, is also popular with walkers and offers magnificent views over the countryside, as well as being home to around 20 species of orchid, myriad birds, insects and small mammals.
Sports facilities nearby include the Stour Centre in Ashford, which has three swimming pools, a gym, fitness studios, sports hall and health spa, and the Julie Rose Stadium, which is located next to Conningbrook Lakes Country Park and is home to Ashford Athletics Club.
Cultural destinations include Ashford Arts Centre, which hosts community theatre and screens independent films, Ashford Museum, and live music venue Revelation. A 12-screen cinema is situated on the Eureka Leisure Park, alongside a selection of family-friendly restaurants, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Hinxhill Park.
