Portway Place is located less than a mile from the centre of Halstead, around eight miles from Braintree and 13 miles from Colchester. The A131 and the A120 are easily accessible.
Halstead town centre is less than a mile from the development. This pretty market town boasts a broad selection of independent shops and branches of well-known chain stores on its high street, as well as a regular food and craft market, cafés, traditional pubs and restaurants.

For domestic and international flights Stansted Airport is a 30-minute drive away via the A120.
