Older students are catered for by, among others, Claydon High School, around 15 minutes’ drive away and Debenham High School, 20 minutes away by car.

There are several shops within the village centre, including a small supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. The town of Stowmarket, less than three miles to the south, has a selection of high-street stores, supermarkets and independents, as well as a twice weekly market.

Ipswich, 20 minutes away by car, boasts a wide variety of chain and departments stores, boutiques and specialist retailers throughout its commercial heart – along Tavern Street and surrounding roads and within Sailmakers and The Buttermarket malls.

The nearest train station to Eve Meadows is Stowmarket, less than three miles away. From there frequent services run to Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ipswich, Colchester and London Liverpool Street. Buses link the development with surrounding towns and villages and major roads nearby include the A11 and the A14.
