Just a 10-minute walk from The Paddocks, is the popular Tropical Birdland attraction, which showcases exotic birds from all over the world, within 5.6 acres of beautiful English countryside.

Transport

Nearby transport connections are excellent, with easy access to the motorway network and good public transport services. The development lies approximately seven miles from Junction 21 of the M1, and seven miles north east of Hinckley, while Leicester city centre is reachable in around 20 minutes, via the A47. Cross Country rail services can be found at stations in Narborough, Hinckley and Leicester, with the latter providing regular trains to Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield and Birmingham, along with fast links to London St Pancreas International.

Education

Families will delight in the close proximity of highly-regarded schools, covering both primary and secondary education. Desford Community Primary School and Bosworth Academy are within a 10 and 15-minute walk respectively, while The Market Bosworth School and South Charwood High School are both around a 10-minute drive from home. Independent schools in the area include Dixie Grammar School (4.8 miles) and The Oaks school for girls (6.9 miles). The award-winning Leicester University is amongst the top 1% of universities worldwide, and can be reached in less than half an hour by car.
