The Stretton Circuit (11 minutes by car) is a 950-metre outdoor karting course, while Stonehurst Family Farm and Motor Museum (a 20-minute drive) includes a working farm and a petting zoo. For families, Fun Valley is an indoor venue featuring soft play, astro slides, go karts and much more. Similarly, the Jungle Club offers a large, indoor soft play area with ball pools, swings, slides and a mirror maze.

Leicester city centre boasts a wealth of entertainment, from multiplex cinemas and bowling, to theatres and museums. The National Space Centre is an award-winning visitor attraction, which includes the largest planetarium in the UK. For history enthusiasts, Leicester Abbey and Cathedral are also worth a visit.

For special occasions, the Michelin-star restaurant ‘John’s House’ is set within a 16th century farmhouse, and located around a 20-minute drive from Goodridge.

Transport

For commuters, Goodridge benefits from good local road connections, including the A47, which is only four minutes’ drive away. Leicester is around a 20-minute drive from the development, via Scraptoft Lane and the A47. Leicester railway station, around 20 minutes away, offers regular services to major cities including Nottingham, Sheffield, Birmingham and London. There is a local bus stop within walking distance of the development which is served by a frequent service to Leicester city centre.

For international travel, East Midlands airport is around a 35-minute drive from Goodridge.

Education

Families are catered for, with several well-regarded schools nearby, including Scraptoft Valley and Fernvale primary schools, which are both only a three-minute drive from Goodridge. For older students, Judgemeadow Community College is around a 9-minute drive away and serves 11 to 16 year-olds.
