You will have a tangible track record of purchasing land and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge, support, influence and engage stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and your ability to be able to motivate the land team in this challenging, but rewarding role.

Sales Manager

Salary – To be discussed

Our West Midlands Division is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join the team.

The Sales Manager is responsible for sales process on site and will achieve all targets and objectives within specified timescales and budgets to maximise profitability. In addition to effectively manage the performance of the sales team and support the Sales Director.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales budgets / targets for each development you are responsible for.

  • Motivate and support sales staff.

  • Implement an initial induction plan and provide continual training, coaching and performance management and support to the Sales Advisors and Senior Sales Advisors.

  • Work alongside and build relationship with other departments.

  • Work within financial parameters in order to maximise profitability.

  • Agree budgets for each show home with the Sales Director and brief/liaise with interior designers accordingly.

  • Propose sales strategies to the Sales Director for developments / plots as and when required.

  • Ensure all correct information and plans are available in good time for commencement of sales operation on each development.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with excellent communication and IT skills, who is currently working as a Sales Manager or a Senior Advisor who is looking to take the next step in their career within the housebuilding sector. Finance Manager

Summary:

There is an exciting opportunity to join one of Britain’s leading housebuilders. Bellway Homes is looking to recruit a Finance Manager who will take ownership of the Divisional budget and three year forecast.

Reporting to the Divisional Regional Director you will be responsible for developing the business plan for the Division along with the other functional Divisional Heads, ensuring this is in line with the Group’s strategic objectives. The Finance Manager will manage the interim and year end process with external auditors, oversee all month end processes and take responsibility for all taxes, such as VAT and CIS. This role of Finance Manager also includes being the primary Divisional contact for matters relating to HR, payroll, IT and fleet.

You will have experience of working in a busy and varied senior finance position and you will be ACA qualified. You will have excellent IT skills, specifically Excel and be able to demonstrate your ability to pick up bespoke systems. In addition to this, you will have experience of leading and managing a team. Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager

There is an exciting opportunity to join one of Britain’s leading housebuilders. Bellway Homes is looking to recruit a 2 Site Managers and 1 Assistant Site Manager to join the Division’s Construction Team.

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service are delivered within the given timescales. 

As part of your role you will manage the day to day running of the development and provide clear director to those working on the development regarding their responsibilities and targets. In addition to this you will manage and implement health and safety procedures and work closely with the Regional Health and Safety Managers to ensure that all aspects of health and safety are adhered too. Motivating, supporting and managing directly employed employees will also be an important element of your role.

The ideal Site Manager candidate will already be working as a Site Manager for a housebuilder and will have a CSCS card and achieved their L6 NVQ in Construction Management. All applicants should have a full and valid driving licence. The ideal Assistant Site Manager will already be working as an Assistant Site Manager for a housebuilder and have a CSCS card and achieved their L4 NVQ in Construction Manager.

Receptionist / PA

There is an exciting opportunity to join one of Britain’s leading housebuilders. Bellway Homes is looking to recruit a Receptionist / PA for our new Division located in Huntingdon.

As Receptionist / PA you will support the Regional Director with the day to day running of the Divisional office and provide secretarial and administration support to the Divisional Directors as required. Duties include, answering phone calls, ensuring urgency messages are actioned immediately and directed to the correct person, organising and maintaining the diary and managing phone calls for the Regional Director. In addition to this, you will coordinate and book internal or external meetings and organise travel arrangements as requested, as well as take minutes at meetings and prepare meeting schedules.

You will have experience of working as a PA or an administrator and you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to work on your own initiative. You will have good IT skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to adapt to new systems.
