 There are several primary schools in the area, along with senior and further education schools, including the Thomas Telford School situated nearby in Telford, which is arguably one of the best secondary schools in the country.  The Abraham Darby Academy, which is sponsored by the Haberdasher's Livery company in London and local authority, and is also linked to Adams Grammar in Newport, is located just down the road from the development.  Nearby Madeley has a large display of shops as well as a Tesco superstore, with Telford Forge Retail Park just three miles away.  The Telford Centre offers 160 shops from Debenhams to House of Fraser and venues range from the mutil-screen Odeon to the Oakengates theatre.  A little closer to home is Madeley Sports Centre, which has superb facilities, including a swimming pool and sports hall.  Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre is also in Madeley, or you can head to Telford ice-rink for some fun in the heart of the town.

  Telford Town Park has acres of space to enjoy year round with its greenery and gardens, completed by water cascades and fountains.  The Pastures is also in easy reach of a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Iron Bridge.

Telford’s modern train services take just an hour to Birmingham International, with links to Euston in under an hour and a half.  The road links are excellent, with the A5 to Shrewsbury 14 miles east and the M54 motorway directly linking the M6 for travel throughout the West Midlands .
