The Bridles is a development of new homes in Bristol, to be constructed in a variety of styles to suit a range of buyers, including families and commuters. Families will find a number of well-regarded schools near The Bridles, including Bridge Farm Primary School and Waycroft Academy. Older children are catered for by St Bernadette Catholic Secondary School and Oasis Academy, while post-16 education providers include City of Bristol College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. The University of Bristol and the University of the West of England are also located in the city – seven miles and 10 miles away respectively.

Several convenience stores and small supermarkets can be found within a mile of The Bridles, while larger supermarkets can be reached in around 10 minutes by car. Bristol itself is a retail paradise, with a plethora of high-street brands, boutiques and specialist stores spread throughout its commercial heart. Cabot Circus and The Galleries shopping centres, Broadmead and the historic St James Arcade boast more than 500 shops between them, attracting visitors from across the south west.

Out of town, retail parks include Imperial Shopping Park and Cribbs Causeway, which incorporates The Mall shopping centre, a bowling alley, restaurants, multiplex cinema and a retail park.
