In addition, West Kent College in Tonbridge (11 miles away), Crawley College (15 miles away) and East Surrey College in Redhill (15 miles away) offer a range of vocational and academic courses for the over 16s.

The town has active cricket, rugby, football and hockey clubs, and there are two golf clubs nearby: The Kent & Surrey Golf and Country Club (around five minutes’ drive from Oakley Park) and Hever Castle Golf Club (10 minutes’ drive away). Once the home of Anne Boleyn, second wife to Henry VIII, Hever Castle is today a popular architectural and historic attraction with many exhibits within its walls and regular events staged within its grounds.
