Gatwick Airport can be reached in 30 minutes by car via the M23.

For families, several well-regarded schools can be found in the local area, including Edenbridge Primary School and Hever CE Voluntary Aided Primary School for younger children and Oxted School and Bennett Memorial Diocesan School in Tunbridge Wells for secondary age pupils. In addition, West Kent College in Tonbridge (11 miles away), Crawley College (15 miles away) and East Surrey College in Redhill (15 miles away) offer a range of vocational and academic courses for the over 16s.

These new homes in Edenbridge are just 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre. Well-known and independent shops, as well as cafés, bars and restaurants, can be found along High Street; a weekly market and a monthly farmers’ market also take place there. Further afield, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks attract visitors from throughout the region with a mixture of shopping malls, boutiques and specialist stores.

Stangrove Park is popular with families – it has a children’s play area and duck pond – while the skateboard park in Blossoms Park is a favourite with older children. The town also has a recreation ground with play area and sports pitches.

Sports fans will find a wealth of clubs and facilities locally. Edenbridge Leisure Centre lies half a mile from the development and has two swimming pools, a gym, sports hall and fitness studio. The town has active cricket, rugby, football and hockey clubs, and there are two golf clubs nearby: The Kent & Surrey Golf and Country Club (around five minutes’ drive from Oakley Park) and Hever Castle Golf Club (10 minutes’ drive away). Once the home of Anne Boleyn, second wife to Henry VIII, Hever Castle is today a popular architectural and historic attraction with many exhibits within its walls and regular events staged within its grounds.
