Scholars Park is a contemporary development of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom new homes in Redcar designed to appeal to a range of potential purchasers, including first-time buyers, families and commuters.

Just a mile from Redcar beach and around 20 miles from the Cleveland Hills, Scholars Park is an ideal location for experiencing the best of countryside and coast. The Esplanade that runs alongside the beach, features a boating lake, cafés, amusement arcades and the Redcar Beacon – an 80ft high building that provides panoramic views over the seafront.

The resort of Saltburn, six miles away, is home to the oldest water balanced cliff lift in Britain, a miniature railway within its Valley Gardens and a Victorian pleasure pier. Inland, Guisborough, lies at the edge of the North York Moors National Park, which covers 554 square miles and provides opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding.

Nearby sporting venues include Redcar Racecourse, Cleveland Golf Club and Redcar Cricket Club. Tennis courts can be found at Locke Park, opposite the development, which also features a children’s play area, boating lake and flower gardens

Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart, a 15-minute walk from the development, offers a range of facilities, including swimming pools, a sports hall, gym and dance studio.

Excellent road and rail connections link Scholars Park with major towns and cities in the region. The A1085 links to the A66 for Middlesbrough, Darlington, the A1 and the A19 (for Thirsk, York, and Doncaster to the south, Hartlepool, Sunderland and Newcastle to the North).

The nearest railway station is Redcar Central, half a mile away, and from there regular services run into Saltburn, Middlesbrough, Darlington and Newcastle.
