The Bellway p.l.c. group of companies employs approximately 2,000 people throughout the UK on a direct basis and many more on a sub-contracted basis. The Group has long had a reputation as a good employer, taking a personal interest in its workforce. As a result, many employees have spent a large proportion of their working lives with the Group, as evidenced each year at the annual long service awards where service of 20 and 30 years is not uncommon.
