Bellway Helps Keep Good Neighbours Together

John and Clare Boots must be the perfect neighbours – when they moved into a new Bellway home after 20 years – their two neighbouring families followed.

Three families have now all moved onto the same street at Westfield Rise, Newport, after they couldn’t bear to be parted, and said “we feel like we’ve won the lottery”.

Couple part-exchange to new home five doors away

When moving home most people relocate within a five mile radius from their old home, however for Michael and his wife Charlotte Hoptroff the move was a little closer in fact only five doors away.

“Our old home was a three bedroom semi-detached house and we really wanted more space, we liked the layout of Hardinstone Court and the design of the homes that Bellway were building. The Hanbury house type we thought would be ideal for our needs, said Charlotte.

Family friendly housing award for Barking Riverside

Bellway Homes has received a Housing Design Award for its Barking Riverside development in the Thames Gateway. The award for the most family friendly housing at Buzzards Mouth Court in Barking Riverside was designed by architects, Sheppard Robson.

The Barking Riverside development is a joint venture Between Bellway and the GLA to deliver 10,800 new homes on a 443 acre site that runs between the A13 and the River Thames, within the Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is one of the largest new mixed use urban developments in the country.

Help to Buy appeals to City East residents

A young professional couple living in Ilford are one of the first people to purchase a new home at City East in Barking using the Help to Buy scheme that was launched by the Government on 1 April.

 Chowdhry Iqbal (35) an accountant and his wife Aisha Akram (30) a doctor have bought a new one bedroom apartment from housebuilder, Bellway Homes.

The first residents of Bellway Homes new development, The Birches in Halesown have been celebrating their move into their new four bedroom detached home.

Mark and Karen White had been living in Halesowen and had been looking for a larger home to accommodate their growing family of three daughters.
