Why rent when you can buy new at City East

If you were paying as much in rent as you would for a mortgage why would you not buy a new home? That was the logic that project manager, Jaromir Kaska and his partner Vaida Butkute used when they bought a new home at Bellway’s City East development in Barking.

“We were looking for a home that would provide more space and room for our seven year old daughter, Goda, we had been renting in Leytonstone, but really wanted a home of our own. Our preference was to buy a new home where we could start afresh with our own décor choices rather than inheriting someone else’s design ideas,” said Jaromir.

Having admired Bellway’s Fleet Curve show home at City East and realising that they could buy the home for the same amount of money that they were spending on rent, Jaromir and Vaida decided to buy the exact same house type.

“We liked the contemporary look of the homes and thought that they were exceptionally well built, we were influenced by what we saw in the show home and could quickly appreciate the benefits of a roomier home that was split over three levels with a garden. The buying process was pretty straight forward; Bellway helped us arrange a mortgage through Nationwide and walked us through every step of the buying process keeping us informed of the progress of our purchase.”

Jaromir and Vaida bought a three storey terraced Fleet Curve home that provides 1,541sq ft of living space and moved into their new home in July.
