Top marks for Bellway’s Greg Taylor

Greg Taylor from national house builder Bellway has been judged as one of the best site managers in the country for their Roby Park development.

Greg is one of a select number of site managers from across the country that has been recognised in this year's National House-Building Council (NHBC) quality awards.

The annual NHBC Pride in the Job Award is judged over the course of a year across the house-building industry. The award is designed to acknowledge the skills of site managers for their central role in co-ordinating the different trades and products used in house building, and is widely acknowledged as the building industry’s premier seal of quality.

Greg (31) who comes from Ashton under Lyne has worked for Bellway since 2009 and has spent 12 years in the building industry has won the award for Bellway’s Roby Park development on Roby Road in Roby. Commenting upon his success, Gregg said:

“I am delighted to receive this recognition; it is very much a team effort and reflects well upon everyone on site. It provides added confidence to our buyers that they are investing in a first-class product.” 

Bellway’s Sales Manager, Jenny Bell, commented: “The NHBC Pride in the Job campaign is a real mark of building excellence.  The award reflects the high standard of craftsmanship and management skills required to run an efficient and safe building environment.”

Winners of the awards now go through to the next stage of the competition, which will culminate in a supreme final to be staged in London.
