Top marks for Bellway’s Colin Driver

Colin Driver from Burgess Hill has been judged as one of the best site managers in the country.

44 – year old Colin is one of a select number of site managers from across the country that has been recognised in this year's National House-Building Council (NHBC) quality awards.

The annual NHBC Pride in the Job Award is judged over the course of a year across the house-building industry. The award is designed to acknowledge the skills of site managers for their central role in co-ordinating the different trades and products used in house building, and is widely acknowledged as the building industries premier seal of quality.

Colin has worked for Bellway for the last 11 years, and is presently employed Bellway’s Quadrangle development in Earlsfield in London, prior to that Colin successfully achieved a Seal of Excellence and Bronze Considerate Constructors award at Bellway’s Water Tower site in Lambeth. Commenting upon his success Colin said:

“I am delighted to receive this recognition; it is very much a team effort and reflects well upon everyone on site. It provides added confidence to our buyers that they are investing in a first-class product.”

Winners of the awards now go through to the next stage of the competition, which will culminate in a supreme final to be staged in London.
