Balancing the Olympics and moving house is no easy feat but for Charlotte and Tim Cox having a builder that was flexible and well organised made life a whole lot easier.

Charlotte and Tim who both work for a well-known leading, global swimwear brand moved into a brand new Bellway home in October.

“We had been living in a semi detached home and really wanted something larger, my family live all over the country so having a few more bedrooms means that they can stay with us when they visit,” said Charlotte.

Charlotte and Tim bought a five-bedroom ‘Cadeby’ style home on Bellway’s Poppyfields development on the former RAF Newton airbase.

“Because we bought early while the house was still being built meant that we could work with Bellway to design the home to our specifications, so things like moving electrical sockets were no problem and Bellway were really flexible in helping us achieve our dream home. We were able to select additional upgrade items from their extensive range of bespoke extras such as granite worktops, lighting and different flooring which Bellway fitted so the house was perfect when we moved in. Bellway’s sales advisor Jane really took all the hassle out of the move and managed all our requirements keeping us informed of progress every step of the way, the service really was excellent and took a lot of worry off our shoulders at a time when we are particularly busy at work preparing for the London Olympics”

“All we need to do now is give the house a name; we’re thinking ‘Fireflies’ after the name of one of the aircraft that used to fly in and out of RAF Newton during World War II,” said Charlotte.

Bellway is selling properties at Poppyfields from £199,950 buyers can select from a range of four and five bedroom detached homes. Visitors to Poppyfields can sample the quality of construction and the spacious environments offered by the homes when they view either the Spinney or Cadeby show home.
