Bellway joins forces with Garden ER

You don’t need to visit Chelsea to see a really fantastic garden. Residents of Bellway’s Roseberry Court development in North Solihull have been shown exactly what can be achieved in a back garden thanks to innovative garden designer, David Domoney. With Bellway’s assistance residents at Roseberry Court have been participating in a new garden makeover programme hosted by Domoney, Garden ER.

The first programme aired on Channel 5’s prime time 7.30pm slot and featured the garden of nurse Karen Darcy and her 15 year old son Connor. David and his team installed a gazebo, decking and created the impression of more space and light with the clever use of mirrors. “I was absolutely astounded when I saw it” said Karen “It’s absolutely lovely” “I never thought it would be as good as this “admitted Connor.

Garden ER is being made by Birmingham based production company, Hotbed Media, Series Producer, Kerry Richardson said: “The programme is designed to get viewers young and old outside, making the most of their outdoor spaces.  Each programme is packed full of clever ideas, inspiring make-overs and opportunities for viewers to get involved.”

Garden designer and presenter David Domoney is a unique garden expert. With a growing fan-base due to his regular appearances on This Morning, GMTV, Better Homes, House of Horrors, Solution Street, Plant Doctor and 60 Minute Makeover, David’s enthusiasm  and can-do attitude is highly infectious. His own passion for gardening is such that he treats his plants to vodka, bananas and even ‘Viagra’ to keep them happy. David regularly creates amazing show gardens for Britain’s great horticultural events, and has a fantastic eye for what will appeal to the public.

Bellway’s Sales Advisor at Roseberry Court, Jenny Mancini commented: “It has been really fascinating watching the transformation of the gardens and just shows what can be achieved with a little imagination and a few tricks of the trade. The series will certainly put Roseberry Court on the map.”
