A Moving Proposal

The day that you move into a brand new home is always exciting. However Assistant Principal at William Hulmes Grammar School, Stephen Smith had an even more exciting proposal for his girlfriend Sarah Godbold – a marriage proposal. Stephen had decided to wait until the day they moved into their new Bellway home before popping the question. In a carefully choreographed move Stephen was there on his bended knee, ring in hand, as soon as Sarah turned around after opening the front door of her new home for the first time.

“I was stunned,” said Sarah, “It was such a special occasion and so out of the blue, I never expected Stephen to ask me to marry him on the day we were actually moving in to our new home, it will certainly be a day I remember.”

Needless to say Sarah accepted Stephen’s wedding proposal and wedding plans are now afoot with a wedding ceremony planned in summer 2012.

Having purchased a detached 4-bedroom ‘Fairhaven’ home and having previously shared a flat in Aigburth, both Sarah and Stephen are certain that their new home on Bellway’s Cressington Grange development will be a great start to married life.

“I knew the area before Bellway started building,” said Stephen. “We were looking for a quiet family neighbourhood and Cressington Grange ticked all the right boxes.”

Cressington Grange provides house buyers a choice of house styles and sizes including 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes priced from £157,995.

Garston offers a wide range of local amenities including doctors, dentist and shops for day-to-day requirements. “The new Mersey Shopping Park and leisure facilities are also close by. Educationally there is St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School, Gilmour Junior & Infants Schools and St Benedict's College, all less than a mile away.”

For commuters, Cressington Grange is less than a mile from the local Cressington train station. However, the local, newly built Liverpool South Parkway railway station is the main train station running all main services. The development is also within easy reach of the M57 and M62. John Lennon Airport in Speke is just under 4 miles away for flights to destinations such as Barcelona, Dublin, Budapest and Venice.
